Newcastle-based B2B office supply and IT technology firm Sharp Office (sharpoffice.com.au) confirmed a cyber security incident after being listed on the dark web leak site of The Gentlemen ransomware group on 07 September 2026. Threat actors claimed unauthorized network access and the exfiltration of sensitive corporate operational and financial data, threatening public release unless ransom demands were met. Sharp Office acknowledged the breach, stating an investigation was immediately launched alongside external forensic specialists to secure network environments, determine the scope of compromised data, and maintain customer continuity.
