During Practice 3 at the 2026 Bathurst 1000, a technical broadcast error resulted in a data and telemetry breach between Supercars teams. Following a heavy crash involving Walkinshaw TWG's #2 Toyota Supra, TV broadcast partner NEP's live camera and telemetry feed incorrectly switched over to pipe live technical data and telemetry streams from Erebus Motorsport's #99 Camaro directly onto Walkinshaw's pit data screens. Both teams dismissed the incident, and Supercars subsequently deployed an urgent dash configuration update to prevent further telemetry mix-ups.
